The Otter™ Pumping System is the world’s first and only ultra-lightweight fully composite floating submersible pump used for remote water sourcing and flood control operations.

The Original Floating Hydrant ®

The Otter Pumping System is a hydraulically powered floating submersible pumping system. Through an onboard hydraulic umbilical line, the floating submersible pump can be deployed up to 200 feet (60 meters) from the on-shore main power system.

The Otter is available in three standard sizes:

• Otter MINI: Flows up to 2000 GPM (7571 LPM)
• Otter Standard: Flows up to 3500 GPM (13249 LPM)
• Otter HP: Flows up to 5000 GPM (18927 LPM)

Custom units can be manufactured for flows up to 15000 GPM (56781 LPM). Using the latest in composite fabrication technology, the submersibles are still physically manageable by one or two emergency personnel without the need of heavy equipment, greatly simplifying loading and general use.
