Kyle Chandler
President and CEO
As a Professional Engineer with a passion for materials science and turbomachinery, Mr. Chandler is the driving force behind KASE. He leads the company’s mission where “Materials Science meets Fluid Science,” pioneering the development of advanced composite fluid transfer solutions for established and emerging fluid handling markets.

Kyle Chandler has been designing complex industrial machinery for nearly two decades. With a passion for materials science, he has pioneered the use of fiber-reinforced structural composites in turbomachinery and related fluid handling applications. His designs have been successfully put into action all over the world in demanding industries such as aerospace and fire fighting. A driven entrepreneur and engineering professional, Mr. Chandler aims to make KASE Pumping Systems the world’s most advanced fluid solutions manufacturer.
Mr. Chandler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania with extensive experience in machine design, fluid mechanics, material science and many manufacturing technologies. He firmly believes in a hands-on leadership style, continuing to operate many of the company’s CNC machines. Mr. Chandler has comprehensive experience in industrial pumping systems used primarily in industrial fire fighting, brine water transfer and flood mitigation.
A lifelong wrestler, Mr. Chandler has continued to volunteer coach his local community high school and youth programs for nearly two decades. He also enjoys motorcycling and woodworking in his free time. He and his family live in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Nick Kusturiss
VP of Engineering
Mr. Kusturiss is a seasoned mechanical engineer driving our ramp into large-scale pump production. He oversees our general facility expansion, production floor and runs are machining operations.

Nick Kusturiss is a seasoned engineering professional in design and manufacturing, boasting a diverse portfolio ranging from the medical industry to commercial and industrial water supply apparatus.
Since graduating from Drexel University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Kusturiss has been dedicated to crafting products that excel in meeting user needs while seamlessly integrating into operational environments. His expertise in various manufacturing processes ensures that each equipment package delivers intuitive and efficient solutions for even the most complex challenges.
Mr. Kusturiss’s commitment to quality is further demonstrated by his Six Sigma training from Villanova University, which has sharpened his ability to produce reliable products trusted by users worldwide. He has an innate desire for solving problems and meeting challenges head on. He maintains a firm commitment to continuous growth and learning.
Outside of work, Mr. Kusturiss enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He enjoys the outdoors, teaching his kids to play sports, and always seems to be working on some type of house project.

Drew McCarty
Partner
Mr. McCarty is a lifelong firefighter with over 35 years of specialty hazards mitigation and is the President of SPSI, a nationwide hazmat response company. He provides continual support of KASE’s mission to deliver the best emergency apparatus products on the market.

Mr. McCarty has been an emergency responder since 1980, starting as a firefighter, then Captain and then serving his local community as the Assistant Fire Chief.
He has been working as an industrial emergency response contractor since the spring of 1989. Over the past 35+ years, Mr. McCarty has trained and performed in an array of hazmat and environmental emergencies and industrial firefighting hazards and tactics. He has been
recognized for successfully mitigating incidents involving high-hazard chemical emergencies by working to minimize life safety and environmental risks in scores of accidents and safety incidents.
SPSI has earned and maintains its qualifications as a CHLOREP Level III response contractor through the Chlorine Institute, certifications by the Association of American Railroads Bureau of Explosives to change valves and fittings on tank cars, and U.S. Coast Guard Verification as an Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO #718). Mr. McCarty holds many hazmat specialist credentials and is a certified Level II Non-Destructive Tester.
Mr. McCarty earned his Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Kent State University with a focus in Transportation & Logistics Management. Mr. McCarty’s vision for KASE Pumping Systems is that it will simplify the world’s portable water movement missions while doing so with equipment that will out-perform and out-last all others in terms of in-the-field performance while maximizing customer ROI.
